I booked a one-bedroom apartment for April 16th to the 18th, and the place was nothing like it was described. When I arrived on the 16th, the first thing I noticed was that the apartment looked nothing like the pictures. The fold-out couch was halfway unfolded, the frame was bent at the bottom, and there was food, stains, and pet hair all over the visible part of the couch. There were also dried blood splatters or some other coagulated substance on the floor in several areas. When I attempted to call the property using the number provided, it was out of service. I then messaged them through the chat feature, and a representative informed me that the cleaning crew wouldn’t be able to come until the next day. I explained that this was unacceptable, and they promised I would receive a refund. However, the next day, when I called and texted, no one responded. I reached out to customer service, and I was told that the property refused to give me a refund, even though I was unable to stay there. They charged me a $100 cleaning fee for cleaning that never happened.
